Thanksgiving Food Box – Saturday, November 21, 2020
Bread of Life is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway from 9 am – 3 pm at 1301 E. Galena. New clients should bring photo ID and social security card. Early arrival is discouraged (not before 6 am). Please call 689-6866 if you need additional information.
United Methodist Open Door distribution starts at 9am and they will distribute until all turkeys are gone at 2130 E. 21st St N. Current identification for each household member, proof of income, and proof of address are required. For more information contact UMOD at 267-4201.
College Hill United Methodist Church will distribute turkeys from 9 – 11 am while supply lasts. The church is located at 2930 E 1st Street. Photo ID will be required if you have not previously visited the food pantry. For more information, call 683-4643.
Central Community Church will distribute a Thanksgiving food bag to the first 2,500 vehicles (one meal per vehicle) starting at 6:30 am. Included in the bag will be a turkey and fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner. No paperwork is required. One bag provided per vehicle. The church is located at 6100 W. Maple. Walk-ups, people coming off the bus, or people on bicycles cannot be assisted.

The 43rd Annual YMCA “We Care Dinner” will be held from 11 am – 1 pm at the Robert D. Love Downtown YMCA, 402 N. Market. Pick up your free tickets at the front desk at the Downtown YMCA at 402 N. Market. Join us at the Downtown Y for turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and all the fixin’s, prepared by The Lord’s Diner! Tickets may be redeemed for one free meal. One ticket per person, must be present to receive meal. All meals served as carry-out only. Masks required for entry. Present ticket for a free city bus ride to the dinner.

Bethel Life Center will have a drive-thru distribution of to-go Thanksgiving meals at3777 S. Meridian Ave, from 10 am – 2 pm while supply lasts. Please call 522-7148 for more information.
First Presbyterian Church invites you to be their guest for a traditional to-go Thanksgiving meal at no charge from 12 – 1 pm at 324 N. Baltimore in Derby, KS. Must RSVP by calling 316-788-2831 by Nov. 25th.

The Lord’s Diner will serve “to go” meals for the Thanksgiving Day Dinner, November 26th at both locations, 520 N. Broadway and 2825 S. Hillside from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
To go meals will also be available through the food trucks at the following locations:
- Atwater Neighborhood Resource Center, 2755 E. 19th St, 4-6 pm – To-Go meals
- Evergreen Neighborhood Resource Center, 2700 N. Woodland – near 27th and Arkansas, 4-5pm – To-Go meals
- Hilltop Community Center, 1329 S. Terrace, 4-6 pm – To-Go meals
